HBSc, O.D. Optometry
After earning an Honours Bachelor of Science with a Concentration in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Melisa Siragusa received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). During her studies at ICO, Dr. Siragusa became a member of the International Optometric Honours Society - BSK, for high academic achievement. She received training in ocular health and disease, therapeutics, contact lenses, pediatric and refractive co-management at several clinics throughout the United States, including the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Newington, CT, Highline Vision Center in Centennial, CO, and the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Siragusa is an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, College of Optometrists of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. She serves on the Ontario Association of Optometrists Member Services, Retention and Recruitment Committee. She is certified by the Board of Examiners of Optometry in the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents. Dr. Siragusa has also been accredited by the National Board of Examiners of Optometry and the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease in the United States.
After receiving an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from York University, Dr. Jenna Astorino earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science, graduating as a member of the Dean's Honour List. Throughout her training, Dr. Astorino completed several internships that focused on ocular health and disease, therapeutics, binocular vision, sports vision, paediatrics, low vision, contact lenses, and refractive surgery co- management.
In 2014, Dr. Astorino was a member of an organization called Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH). She went on a mission trip to Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas, Mexico, where she provided comprehensive eye examinations to individuals who do not have access to eye care in an effort to help restore sight through sight-saving
surgery, prescription glasses and therapeutics. In her final year of Optometry School, Dr. Astorino completed an internship at the Eye Foundation of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. Throughout this internship, she worked alongside optometrists and ophthalmologists who specialize in disease of the retina and vitreous, cataract, refractive surgery and oculoplastics. Dr. Astorino is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrsits, College of Optometrists of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.

Bianca has been working in the optometric field since 2012 and has been with Nobleton Optometry since 2015. She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the practice. She is passionate about helping patients select frames and sunglasses that suit them aesthetically, while recommending lenses that suit their visual needs and lifestyle. Bianca also enjoys training patients on proper wear and handling techniques of contact lenses.
